  19. might be better to be able to control this more accurately, eg.
  20. selecting domains for which you don't want to use proxy at all.

  22. At least Lynx and Netscape have this option and our local administrator
  23. suggested to not use proxy for local domain, probably because those
  24. pages will come faster directly from local www server than from faraway
  25. proxy server).

  27. I guess this is rather meaningless for modem users but some lucky
  28. people have Ethernet in their apartments ;-)
